Tourism director Bruening announces retirement

Author: After heading up the Galesburg Convention & Visitors Bureau for almost 10 years, Diane Bruening has announced that she will retire on Jan. 1. Bruening, who worked for the CVB for 12 years — she started as tourism sales manager — came here 19 years ago with her late husband, Walt.
